this is, what, the second wannabes track on the show? i found this blog trying to figure out what the song was from the RC airplane scene in S01E01... the wannabes' Atomic Girl.
quite a bit of exposure for a relatively small band, even by hipster standards.
this site is cool. i've been looking for the song 'breathe me'for a while. thanks
Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas was close friends with the Wannabes when the band started out in Austin, Texas, in the mid-late 1980s. No doubt that has something to do with their multiple appearances. (The name of Wannabes singer Jennings Crawford has also been used as the name of a very minor non-appearing character on the show.)

I've been lookin for these songs that were stuck in my head forever! This site is a lifesaver =))
I'm searching for the song that was played in the beginning of the episode, when Veronica was dreaming of herself sitting next to Meg in the bus. Around the bus were fish swimming. It was some kind of instrumental song.
